I'M Walking Away
I'm walking away from this affair
it's funny but it seems you just don't care
about the way that I feel inside
I'm sorry but I just cannot hide
how very badly you have hurt me
I know you are blind and cannot see
but it's about time I opened up my eyes
and put a halt to all those nightly cries.
I'm walking away from this affair
of the pain you have caused me you are unaware
You want me to stand by you but keep my mouth shut
and cater to your every whim no matter what
now every time I see you it's like a punch to the gut
which only lets me know how deeply I've been cut.
So goodbye to this affair, maybe now you'll start to care
when you turn around and I'm no longer there
that is the consequence that you must bare.
