I'M So Tired
I’m so tired my mind goes on the blink
Although I find myself my life is on the brink
So I get myself up and fix myself a drink
Not everything is exactly as you would think.
I’m so tired of the way that things always go
I think that I am learning yet see that I don’t know
So I plant another seed and hope that it shall grow
My life plays before me like a picture show.
I’m so tired I think I need some sleep
I’ve tried everything maybe I will count some sheep
I try to swim to shore but the water got to deep
The rain begins to fall as if the angels’ weep.
I’m so tired but I have so much to do
I try to break away but my mind is set on you
I see inside my heart and hope that it is true
It; all becomes tarnished by all that we’ve been through.
I’m so tired I think I’ll get some rest
I don’t always do so well I guess I should confess
I gather up the pieces and then try to fix the mess
I just wanted more but settled for a little less.
