This poem is most likely politically incorrect, but, in my opinion, true. VOTE if you're qualified. If you're really interested in the future of the U.S., learn about the ones for whom you're voting.

I'm Really Quite Confused By Franklin Price 6/18/2016 I'm really quite confused about our politics today, And of the selfish things they do and all the games they play Super delegates are used to control the end result. Voting districts rearranged; a mind boggling insult. Counteract the money limits by organizing super pacs And owe the rich who back them; part of the under-handed facts To continue on these selfish moves, the parties, to gain note, Allowed candidates they didn't want to represent them for your vote. Surprise their message caught on, and they headed for the top. The parties asked the question: how can we make these people stop? Say bad things about them, but don't admit to a mistake; Can't offer either money, for neither's on the take. Supposedly in Washington, public interest is in mind. The politicians are the public. I think that is what you'll find. Many of incumbents have been there way too long. Guess we're afraid to kick them out; could be we're voting wrong. The voters' views are negative. That's what the polling shows Yet voting's setting records and opinions come to blows In the end it is the people who are supposed to run the place Vote when the polls are open or don't complain or show your face Who you see is who you put there to control this country's fate; November soon will be here, all you voters mark the date Vote all the ones you think are best. They followed all the rules, Put there by the politicians, who were elected by us fools.

I cannot speculate on how it has come to this. A choice between the liar and buffoon. Indeed, we are all fools now.

Fools indeed. I think we got what we unknowingly (hopefully) strove to get
