I'M Over Him

I can’t believe that I’m over him. I thought that he was the only one whom I could depend. The feelings left in a quick whim. Men come and they go, and thank God I’m over him. When I look back over our short- term bliss, I realized that there is nothing that I should have missed. He gave me hell, and the feeling for him was probably mutual. But he’ll always remember me and how I was so-called unusual. I’m moving on to better things that won’t mess up my life. I no longer care about being his or anyone else’s wife. I don’t want to cook and clean for a man who is untrue. Only fools would want to scrub and rub for a man, Who gives them the blues. I was a fool like that once. I will never be jester like that again. I guess my trials with him were growing pains. No one but God helped me through this situation. So, I need to do my best and continue to praise him.
