Im Not Perfect
I’m not perfect
I’m far from it
I make mistakes
And when I’m near defeat I give up and run from it
Afraid to fall in love for fear of losing it
My emotions are what I’m losing to
And myself is who I’m losing with
Afraid to get up
For fear I may fall
Fear I may fall so I don’t get up
I’m stuck
Within myself
Too scared to defend myself
Too proud to ask for help
So I melt
No one to blame but myself
