I'M Just a Vessel

I’m Just a Vessel Here rest I, in the calm of the starlit sky, Paying homage to the Creator, of days gone by. Thought waves lightly quivering, to and fro, Like the ripple effect, of a stones soft throw. Warm breezes caress, my bow like a sheet, Eyes wide shut, soon gently rocked to sleep. Adrift through the fog, calm sounds ring out, Seaweed grass and lily pads, with toads perched about. Slowly the dark night sky gives way to the dawn, Shadowed sun-rays peeking, through clouds of white chiffon. Birds gaily singing, angelic melodies amongst the trees, As I embrace the hugs, of this new day's fresh breeze. Through silent words, I whisper, prayers of thanks to the one above, For creating me in your image, and blessing me with your love. Though I am just a vessel, fashioned by your very hands, My walk sends a message that most on earth should understand. Written By: Sarita A. Milliner 12/29/17 ©

Great imagery, especially with; "Like the ripple effect, of a stones soft throw" and "Seaweed grass and lily pads, with toads perched about".
