I'M Here
I awoke in heaven this morning
And I wanted you to know
That my passing, my dying
Was just part of life's natural ebb and flow.
There were so many here to greet me
And while I'm missing family and others
I'm surrounded, loved, and cherished
By so many sisters and brothers.
Every moment here is new
There's so much to tell of each day
Living here in His presence
In that love that won't go away.
This is such an exciting journey
As I wait for you to arrive
For the spirit-filled peace and comfort
Gives new life to being alive.
Just as told in time of old
He is my strength, my staff, and rod,
And I'd rather be no other place
Than here in the presence of God.
