I'M From

I’m from white shutters pressed on light blue siding, from yellow walls that were always shining. I’m from thin and thick framed glasses. I’m from loud mouths. I’m from impartial minds, and I’m from prejudiced minds. I’m from porcelain and freckles, as well as color. I’m from hardworking veterans, as well as patient teachers. I’m from many different things, and they make me who I am.
