I'M Enough
Time and time again I offer myself, I offer my body, my mind and my universe to you and you cowardly refused. You want me, or at least you think you want me. Your me
Is not what I truly am. You want a quiet woman that just adds to your accent like a tie to a suit or a sock to a shoe. You claim you want a smart and successful woman but you can't even handle me in my trying stage, how on earth will you handle me at my best. I'm lost in your smile, your gaze paralyse my thoughts. When I look at you, I see nothing but perfection in a room full of mistakes, fears and self hate. Say my name, what does it remind you of, what comes to mind. I still crave the me you want.
