I'm Coming
I look upon my life and sing
a song of living hope and love.
Within my heart there is a zing
for heaven’s calling from above.
The softest cushions on my chair,
a spark of stars to light my coal.
The lilt of lyrics in the air,
and finest lamb's wool for my stole.
Within the confines of my dreams,
I view the most divine of things.
Friends and family in long streams;
they welcome me with cheerful strings.
Today I am a joyous soul
for across that bridge I will stroll.
