I'M Better Off
To the person who promised "till death do us part"
I want to start out by saying that although you didn't fulfill your promise to stay by me, I am better off than I would've been if you would've kept that promise. I trusted you, let my guard down, loved you with all of my being, and somehow in that trust, you managed to betray me. Not only did you leave, but you left so suddenly with no explanation, no respect, and no regard for the life and love we had shared for so many years. The disrespect and dishonesty, and the fact that you thought I wouldn't see through you after knowing you so well for so many years was hurtful and stupid of you. I have moved on and moved forward and have built a great life for myself. I have heard you aren't very happy, and I'm sorry to say that I don't care. I think you deserve the karma you are experiencing, and maybe you can be an advocate for the saying "the grass isn't always greener on the other side". You thought the lull in our 10 year marriage was unhappiness, but unhappiness is what you will know now that you've made a life altering decision for the both of us. I will never send you this, and I will never contact you, and will probably never see you again. I just hope that you know in your heart, and in your mind, and in the karma you are experiencing, that this is life now. You've made the decision for both of us, and now you will have to live with the consequences.
