I'M Alone

Can mere words heal my soul? Can their counsel cure my sickness Why does my lips tell to the ears With no balm to my excruciating plight I tell and tell again, They listen and listen again As I say with an unseen rivulets of tears from the abyss of my weary heart Little I know yesterday, That here I am alone That only me bears my cross No family, no friend Even samaritans are long dead No one would come by I live alone, and will die alone
