Illiana Starr

October 7th we was greeted with a burst of delight; And the starr, shimmering like the city at dusk, So beautiful! But the day we left your mother at the birthing center, I was uneasy and panicky, My heart throbbed aloud, But when I got the word that you have been conveyed securely in to the world, I wore a smile so bright, Primed to gladly receive my radiant light. Eliyana, my God has answered! And there you was; With little feet and tiny hands, Your eyes were closed and yet you was ensnaringly beautiful, Gentle and soft our cuddly toy! Eliyana! Our bundle of joy! I am happy to see you glowingly alive, May you grow to be a woman of sturdy piety, And find way through the mystery of life, I pray to be there to share the journey with you.
