I'll Still Have A Heart
I'll still have a heart—
Long the beating orb goes;
I'll still have a heart—
Even if made a ghost.
I'll still have a heart—
Veins run clear to the pain,
I'll still have a heart—
That is gentle with its flame.
I'll still have a heart—
A dream through a mask;
I'll still have a heart—
Translucent in your clasp.
I'll still have a heart—
Its polished floor raked;
I'll still have a heart—
Eyes a full brim to satiate.
I'll still have a heart—
Though clouds gather 'round
to make its shadow bleak;
I'll still have a heart—
When I look at you...looking at me.
