I'Ll Be Home Soon
Between the time that
The sun peaks from the east
To the time it
Descends to the west-
From the moment
I open my eyes
To the single instant
I fall to a blissful coma-
In the time that it takes
To go a thousand miles
Away from home-
From the start to the finish
Of my daily routine-
From off the pillow
To back on-
Between sunrise and sunset,
I've thought of you many times
And will always,
My dear friend-
I'll be home soon.
