Ignorance
Confusion drives this dark horse
into the night of a million faceless riders,
all wishing to climb on board.
Illiteracy and blindness serve as his mane and tail,
freely flowing in the wind of insensitivity.
His strength comes from shallowness,
as he pounds his hooves made of stupidity
into the ground of the misinformed.
Covered with a blanket of inexperience,
he gallops the road of uncertainty,
casting aside all that get in his way.
He swims the great river of the misguided,
crossing to the shore of incomprehension,
where he pounds his hoof's onto the stones
of the deserted and discarded.
Suddenly his ear's pull back, nostril's flaring,
as he raises up on his back legs.
It is the one thing he fears....enlightenment.
