Ignorance

If people understood him, his life wouldn't be so hard.If they only knew that he had the lower card. If people saw what he saw their eyes would truly burn. Tears would drip down their faces in utter concern. If people tasted what he tasted they wouldn't want to eat. They would bow their heads and shamefully admit defeat. If people heard what he heard, they'd cover their ears. They'd hide behind dreams because life's shouting out their fears. If people felt what he felt, their souls would become cold. They'd understand their heart's desire of something warm to hold. Alone and helpless they stare into space wondering how much more God would make him face.
