If You'Re a Bird

"If you're a bird, I'm a bird" I don't care if it sounds absurd You trace my palm, to feel my skin Stand in front, to shield the wind A storm won't delay your serenade For my attention, you'll stop a parade "If you jump, I jump" we'll both freeze to death Among my gifts bestowed, you’ll have my final breath You dance like a clown just to see me laugh You seem to believe, I'm your better half You put me to bed, after too much to drink Finish my sentences when I'm too tired to think "If you're a bird, I'm a bird" I don't care if it sounds absurd

This is sweet, as long as in the process you do not lose yourself.
