If You See Africa
If you see Africa
Tell her that I am in love with her
Tell her that I love her more than ladies
Love recharge cards and strawberry
Tell her that I love her more
Than the politicians do
Tell her that I love her with blindness
To her weak economy
And dead refineries
If you see Africa
Tell her that her pregnant mothers are not
Happy with her lack of hospital needs
Tell her that education is not a crime
It is our birthright
Explain to her that governance
Is for progress not an iron fist
Tell her that we don't hate her
But we hate her blindness
To prosperity
No tell her it because of her
Child abuse and lack of electricity
If you see Africa
Tell him that he is impotent
Tell him that I am not happy
With his corruption band
That is tick ticking as time bomb
Tell him that poverty is not
A necessity it is like the pots holes
On our roads it kills
Tell him that he has failed us with
Beautiful failure
We no longer live in anger but
Laugh in pains as patients in
Sick bay
For his children goes to school
With sweating stomach
Let me ask is governance a crime
Tell him tell her she is our salvage
