If You Could Tread On My Heart

If you could read my mind if you could tread on my heart, a rose waiting to bloom you could find a waterfall about to start. If you could tread on my heart in the love garden you could see, a waterfall about to start waiting for your nod only. In the love garden you could see moon beams hanging in the sky, waiting for your nod only to come down and kiss your eyes. Moon beams hanging in the sky stars waiting you could find, to come down and kiss your eyes it's time you read my mind. Stars waiting you could find a waterfall about to start, it's time you read my mind if you could tread on my heart. A waterfall about to start a rose waiting to bloom you could find, if you could tread on my heart if you could read my mind! ============000============ By: kash poet

Hey Kash, I grew up listening to this song as my parents were crazy about it...So this means that you are listening to some of the American oldies?...I tried to get u hooked on jazz...no luck...haha. You painted the song with a dazzling poem! Good luck, friend!! Gwendolen

A rare beauty is oozing out in almost stanzas but the third one is extremely beautiful, 'In the love garden you could see, moon beams hanging in the sky, waiting for your nod only to come down and kiss your eyes'. btw, that was one of the song titles I too had considered. there were about ten that I loved from the long list of his titles. Have you ever heard that song: If I could read your mind? If not, you need to listen to it at youtube.

Excellent, Kash! I'm "nodding," so bring on the waterfall, flowers and stars of passion. This is really excellent and it is one of Lightfoot's best songs. Winning wishes for you, my friend. Love, Carolyn
