If Tommorow Comes
IF TOMORROW COME S
Lord if I should wake up tomorrow
Rain my day,
For it will be hot
And the sun will burn.
Lord if it should rain
Let there be no mud,
It will dirt my shoes
And I have important meeting
To attend.
Lord if it should be cold
Give me some warmth,
But don’t light the sun.
Or should I carry fire
In my pockets?
Lord if I shouldn’t see tomorrow Not that it will disappear Or it wont dawn but I’ll have departed Leaving behind a mere mass of mortality
Give them strength to dig.
Thus if I shall die
Lord forgive me every due,
As I bid this world adieu,
let there be no cry or hue.
And forgive my haters-the few
I love them just as you.
