If Tears Were Poetry

If tears were poetry, my words would flow in a constant stream onto the dampened paper, running together in a blur of forever promises and hoped for futures But alas they are merely salt stained lines in sorrowed cursive fonts, drenched in phrased sadness, falling from my eyes, flooding the cracks of my broken heart If tears were poetry, I would be a poet

To be a good poet, I think having strong feelings is a prerequisite. How could you describe the feelings of loss and sadness so well if you hadn't experienced them. A very touching poem, Chris, and beautifully penned.

You are both Poet and Human...Tears...We should never let tears of sadness steal our joy..Sometimes we really have to fight our tears..especially if they are tears for people who do not deserve to watch them fall....I can feel sadness in this post..yet the beauty of words too.

Thank Charmaine, sometimes it just happens and there is nothing I can do about it. But, if I had not felt love I would not know what it feels like to lose it, so I guess that is a good thing. A really good thing is these kind words you always leave for me, they always bring a smile with them.
