If Only It Were Real

The dream of your face, the touch of your hand. I still remember your sweet scent. The sun sets shade of the tree. It shall move across your face as if only meant. This memory engraved into my mind. It might as well be set in stone. You may lay in my arms; As if to have you as my own. Our lives move together, an unexpected twist of fate. In sweet serinity. I may ask for your love to take. Your hand in mine. We shall sway in the silent night. I will protect you, sheild you I swear! From anything of fright. We are forever together, roots to never be upturned. And then I wake up, Something I'm afraid never will return. This dream it haunts me. Reminding me of what I'll never have. Stabbing me in the heart; Like a blade; a sharpened relapse.
