If Only I Knew
If only I knew how sweet he could be,
I would have been just as sweet.
If only I knew how good he treated me,
I would have treated him the same.
If only I knew how much he loved me,
I would have loved him more.
If only I knew how much he lied and how well he could make me believe,
I would have doubt.
If only I knew how fast he would turn,
I would have been more careful.
If only I knew how dangerous he was,
I would still be alive.
If only I knew.
