If Only I Could Be Reborn

>If only I could be reborn If only, I could be reborn. Which of course, I know, I cannot. I’d come back as a Muslim woman. I would, I really jest you not. Uncovered and liberated, now I would be. And in charge, you would see me. I’ll have man covered from head toe. As I would be, in charge, you know. Then no one could look at him. His looks and frowns, are hidden you see. No fighting, talks of war and such. As undercover man, he can’t say much. As I would be, in charge, you know. I'll have man covered from head to toe. And in charge, you would see me. Uncovered and liberated, now I would be. I would I really jest you not. I'll come back as a Muslim woman. Which of course, I know, I cannot. If only I could be reborn. Sorry, if this sounds a little religiously, political. Best say it now, get it out of the way. Its only make believe I say. As that's what poetry is today. And man being woman can't happen today. Oops you think I'm wrong you say. Well here's another sorry. I've plenty left today. As midnight's not yet here I say. I think I had now better stop. This poem has now lost its plot. It really has I jest you not. Goodnight, goodbye, that's your lot. <
