If Only I Could

If only I could run my fingers through your delicate hair Take you to pastures unknown with no worries, not even a single care Just rest your hand on my shoulder and let me carry you to the skies Imagine a world where there's no pain and no lies Believe in me and I'll do the same for you Looking into your caramel eyes makes me feel anew I've become part of you, your flesh is my own Deep into the night as we lay beneath the stars our true feelings are shown Your skin revitalizes my senses and I smell your lovely scent I grow to love you even more every moment we have spent Your the image in my head from the picture I drew If only I could make this dream come true
