If Love Was Kind

Memories come silently in stillness To bring reflections to a quiet mind As pictures float across darkness to confess They come in waves so always to remind To see what was and hold it all within and touch faces lost you once yearned for To know your past will never be again, as you dance slow across memory's floor When you cross years of shadows left behind Is there a moment precious you'd exchange? And wonder through it all if love was kind Does it bring you a picture you would change? Long tears that fell can never be replaced They come in waves reflections have embraced

Beautiful.. Something both sobering and comforting to me in this poem... I think, no. I would not change them. They are both me and mine.. Hugs my friend... Arlene...... Especially like, dance slow across memory's floor..
