If I write a poem, It would whisper in rhyme; Telling the millions of hearts That it would last a lifetime. If I write a poem, It would be thought-provoking; Piercing deep into the mind Of a man of critical thinking. If I write a poem, It would warm the heart; It would welcome the day For a promising start. If I write a poem, I would let my emotions flow; To touch the innermost feelings And keep the faith aglow. If I write a poem, I would portray the beauty; To charm the famous painters Tangled in the canvas activity. If I write a poem, I would let the people pore; Not only by eager eyes But also by voices galore. If I write a poem, I know they will rate it five; But I keep on going So fire inside shall stay alive. I would create for the rune hunters, And save the verses for them; They couldn't help but muse, If I write a poem.
