If I Were
If I were the Queen of England
Prim and proper I would be
Why would I be that way
Because my daddy
Expected that of me
I would give teas
Be kind and gracious
As I could be
Why you say
Because my daddy
Expects it of me
I would treat the elderly kind
Do service to the poor
Why you ask would I do that
Because daddy
Expects that of me
I am not the Queen
Or the President's wife
But I am a child of God
Bride of the Lamb, The Christ
And my daddy
Expects that of me
