If I Was Like An Eagle
Isiah 40:32
If I was like an eagle,
I’d soar across the sky.
I’d wing my flight to worlds unknown.
Across the stars I’d fly.
If I was like an eagle,
i’d glide the oceans blue,
I’d go up the highest mountain,
Down the lowest valley, too.
If I was like an eagle,
I’d fly off to a place
Where the is no sorrow,
Just joy on each face.
If I was like an eagle,
I would surely build a nest
Of things that mean the most to me
Because I’m truly blessed.
If I was like an eagle,
An angel I’d become
’Cause I would live in Heaven
With the Father and the Son.
