If I Had Been
If I Had Been
If I had been little bird like him
When all the lights started to dim
I fell from tree ending up on ground
Would anyone ever be around?
Would in time and past I be lost in
But still want to remember when
I had taken my very last breath;
Went to heaven after my death.
No longer was I at death's door;
Not having to worry any more;
Heaven had a happy home for me;
Can float around and fly so free.
My friend don't you worry at all;
From heaven I never will fall;
When you and I there may meet
God said everything is His treat.
