If I could talk to God today Humble praise and thanks I would give For all the blessings I have received None of which do I deserve For any good I may have done Was by grace through His son If I could talk to God today, I would ask Lord, when I was a little child Why was I so painfully shy? Whenever strangers were around I would always run and hide Reading and daydreaming all the while If I could talk to God today, I would ask Lord why does evil continue to exist? I was only seven, abused and blindly robbed I was lucky, my life not brutally snuffed!
