If I Could Have Walked With Jesus

if i could have walked with jesus if i could travel in time i know where I'd go and when way back during the time Jesus walked among men to see all those marvelous things he did oh! and to hear the sermon he gave as a kid but you know what would really be swell to walk alone aside him as one of the twelve and imagine being right there in that boat watching him walk across water as if he could float i mean just to see the things he accomplished he fed so many people with only a Little bread and a few fish just to be there even for time to see him help the lame to walk and heal the blind and it would really give me a thrill to experience him quieting the storm by just saying peace be still like everyone i would be so amazed to have seen him raise his dearest friend from the grave i often wondered how i would have felt if i had been there when my lord wept to sit at the last supper as he was so brave know all the time that he was being betrayed but i don't think i could watch as they treated him so grim i would have jumped in and carried that cross for him and you know the moment i would really savor is to have been there when he rose three days later even though i cant go back to way back then i need to start preparing for he'll be back again
