If I Could Cry
If I could cry
I’d cry for the little girl
Who set off blindly on a journey,
And took all the buses she met.
If I could cry
I’d cry for her young virgin mind
Raped and trampled upon
Forever scarred, sacred no longer to be.
If I could cry
I would take her tears away
Put them inside my dam
Shield her from life’s’ worries and cares
But all my tears are gone
And the bus she was in has broken down
And she along with it. (Sighs)
