If I Could
IF I COULD
If I could move a mountain
By shrinking it to a stone
Then I could make you love me
And not be here alone.
If I could walk on water
Or make the sky my home
Then I would make you love me
And not be here alone.
If I could paint a masterpiece
Or write the perfect poem
Then you couldn’t help but love me.
I don’t want to be alone.
If I could reveal the darkest secrets
And banish all the unknowns
I’d find the reason you don’t love me
And never again be alone.
