If I Could
If I could just, fly away, come back another day,
Reminisce good memories, instead of wanting to float away
I'm living today, cause what if tomorrow doesn't come?
What if I didn't feel this pain, and my pen wasn't my gun
And just, shoot this paper evertime I wanna unload my clip,
Cause this paper is my target and I live with my pen strapped to my hip
My mind is my holster and I unbuckle it when I'm ready,
Fully automatic thoughts unload, and the stream of bullets is steady
I wish people would never step to me, cause I wanna explode
My brain is about to crash, so they laugh, like it's a joke,
They're mediocre, and their hate is only giving me exposure,
But I'm writing, and with every line, I'm still getting a little closer
Cause this is miniscule, the majority of these people dont even know me,
There's a minority of people I could actually call my "homies"
I'm moving slowly, try to catch up and don't get lost,
These words will guide you like a map, or trip you and hit you with rocks
