If All Your Dreams Were Nightmares

The mist slowly rises curling its tail about a post Coal black dust drips from corners of memory's page Drip drip drip Shimmering black, surreal and cold blood pools in its Drip drip drip Alone(forever) for now Shimmering distance It comes growing larger, closer, clearer iris of golden maroon tears Drip drip drip from unseen gashes and tears Blood (not) tears Drip drip drip from unseen gashes and tears Shivering cold, Jump If all your dreams were nightmares Dream of what a nightmare would be

Karina, reminds me too much of the many Stephen King books I have read. Seriously creepy and well done. Congrats on being featured. Love, Shar

Katrina you know this poem really hits home with me - I watched my mother drown at age 4 and I relived that memory in my dreams every time I closed my eyes for years - Congrats on being featured this week - God Bless
