If
If I had one wish I’d wish to be free
Free from all trials, free as the breeze
Free to think aloud without any contempt
Free to be included and not always exempt
If I had one thought I would think of your love
I’d think of how your heart fits mine like a glove
I’d think of how warm and safe it is in your arms
I’d think of how your smile eases pain like a charm
If I had one act I’d show kindness abound
I’d feed all the hungry people in every single town
I’d build homes for those with no shelter above
I’d buy cars for those who are forced to walk in the mud
If I could live one life I’d live mine all again
I’d take every opportunity to smile deep within
I’d spend more time with my son as his new life began
I’d take more time to show him that true love never ends
If I could love once again I’d choose to love more of me
I’d give myself much encouragement and self-love abundantly
I’d love the woman I was and the woman I’ve become
I’d spread my love to the masses hoping to touch at least one.
