ICICLES

Celsius is minus three icicles now we see growing on winter tree amid frosty display aloft shrouded by grey leaden clouds set to stay but midday sun shines in and icicles begin to warm and start dripping melt-water in sun’s rays brings bright rainbow displays putting to shame the greys all of our winter tree becomes icicle free Celsius now at plus three.

brrr your icicle imagery made me shiver but I love the idea of an icicle tree - so poetic. we don't get snow and ice often here but I will think of your poem especially the thought of the icicles melting when the temperature rises:-) hugs Jan xx
