Ice Skating

If you want to fly, but are bound to ground, Come twirl and swirl, go around and around, Enjoying the flight other dreamers found. Sash and shay while flying way fast or slow, Keeping bladed skates soaring as you go. Attach wings to your feet for fun you seek. Take your time, flap your beat boldly or meek. Inhale wonder then exhale your dance flight. New frozen delight is but right in sight. Go glide, sail and slice tight with air’s might. ... CayCay Jennings January 1, 2017

CayCay, your Acrostic is so smooth and seamless. A beautifully expressed write full of wonderful rhythm and rhymes, interesting use of words; 'Sash and shay' (brilliant btw) and whirling imagery. Your last line is such an excellent way to end an excellent write! Enjoyed!!

I love to watch skaters CayCay. They dance like ballet on ice. I adored your third line first stanza. Yes dreamers! Lovely! So nice to see you post some new poems. ; )

This poem is like my dance. Wehn I close my eyes, I can still see me dance. And I can see you dance on ice. Such is the imagery of your acrostic...

I'd rather watch, preferably you:) Great acrostic, CayCay. I'd have never taken you for an ice skater:) I was thinking more like roller derby, either one would be cool with me:) Happy New Year! Here's your kiss XXXX
