I Would Never Know
I Would Never Know
Maybe you could say I am being cynical
My poetry career is reaching its pinnacle
Being a nice guy never having any greed
In leaps and bounds poems take the lead.
High standards for myself I have now set
Some say my goals are close to being met
How much higher must my standards be
Before they have become a part of reality.
Where must I then go while also how far?
So I can start becoming to be a raising star
Truly time tells and always will know all
And poetry challenge soon starts to call.
The love of poetry lies before my feet
Write more poems temptation may meet
They in my life continue to freely flow
If it wasn't for God, I would never know.
