I came across this lovely Iris today on the edge of the sidewalk. Had to stop and snap a picture.

I would be an Iris dressed in ragged purple clothes blooming by the side walk where everybody goes I would be an Iris with petals richly hued basking in the wonder whenever I am viewed I would be an Iris to stop you in your tracks to hold you in a moment where time does not elapse.

A beautiful flower it is too Suz, amazes me how they manage to survive so long on the sidewalk. Have a great weekend. Tom

Your poem as beautiful as the Iris it praises. You certainly held my moment in its rich hues, SuZ.
