I wonder what

At a stand still So different to stillness Having standing so different To being told to stand Walk on, so different to walking off I don't know where I stand I'm chaos wrapped in stillness Not walking anywhere So I lay here Letting my mind talk It chooses riddles Because feet need to speak

I love this poem Di11y, especially the last line...on the surface it looks silly but is actually wise...'because feet need to speak.' Well done! Have a splendid day, Sara

It's wide open to interpretation but there's definitely a point hidden in there. Thanks for you comment x

And then I didn't put a shoe on all day... I need to listen more to myself. Thanks for the comment John

That's a mind wobbler, but true too, what an interestingly curious write, because feet need to speak - great line

Yes I took a chance on it making sense beyond my own momentary thought. It's a bit of muse on interpretation of a word, being told it's something it's not. Glad you found something in there you liked, appreciate the comment

Time to get up and use those feet... Some mornings, especially when dark and cold, we do not feel like getting up.. we are the masters of chaos though, we rise from our own strength... we only drown if we stay in the water...
