I Woke Up
I went to bed, wished I was dead.
But as usual woke up instead.
So here I am to carry on.
Having to face another dawn.
I know some of you have contempt.
For me when fate is what I tempt.
And then there's some who understand.
That this is not what we had planned.
The world don't spin the same for some.
Some never question, some say how come.
A self induced sense of disdain.
A false truth of endless pain.
Why would someone behave this way.
When no one believes what you say.
They look at you with hopelessness.
As you continue to regress.
