I Wish To Be Your Angel

I can cry at night when the world is lost in sleep, I can divert my mind with your thoughts when the wounds run deep! But tonight I sit & wonder what is it you do when in pain? Are there things that can make you cry & are you able to regain? I wonder if your mind is put to rest after you weep? Or are your insecurities too big to let you sleep? I wish I was your Angel...wrap you in my arms and fly away... To a place where you can live your life your way! I wish to take you to my little world & hope for the time to hold, I'll show you the diamond sky & the sun of gold! Just a bit more further & there they stand... Smiling at the Sun, no matter what turn it takes, that's exactly where they(Sunflowers) bend! Let me take you to the top of a mountain, from where you'll see the Sun roll, or do you wish to see the sparkling waters swallow the fireball. Have you ever spoken to the wind or heard the rustling leaves, or did you ever wish to follow the twinkling glow of those tiny creatures in one of those summery silent nights when the world rests in peace? Let the droplets splash on your face & let the heavens break free; handover those worries to the Rain while you dance with glee! I wish to ease your pain, want you to leave them behind, for you they are not worth, erase them from your mind! I see a flicker of doubt in your eyes...but is it always so important for you to act wise? Life has cheated you in a thousand ways but I promise, for this you'll not have to pay a price! I wish to be your Angel; so what if only for a day... I promise to love you forever though I know someday you'll want to leave me & go away!
