I Wish I Told You This

My dearest Cheryle, you lit the flame that burns and burns, yet I'm to blame for love became ash, but once was gold hiding the grayish complexion of my heart untold. I wish, I wish that you were here for the nights are ceaseless, I coward with fear of loneliness and languish and longing to hold you in my waiting arms, until we're old. The darkness is cold and numbs my mind holding me tightly to be helpless and blind, but even darkness will never erase the beauty of burning ember, like the beauty of your face. So I close my eyes, the curtains fall, and the tears unveil the disaster that was my life and left a trail of ash and anguish and anger too, until I found the calmness that exudes from you. You I deeply trust and found so fair, the sparkles in your eyes that glisten with your hair. I miss everything you are and miss everything you will be. I wish, I wish that you would think of me.
