I Will Never Know

To have you then to let you go, whether you were a boy or girl I will never know, I will never know how you feel, God I can not believe this is real, I will never get to hold you tight, Or even kiss you goodnight, I will never hear the first words you say, Or get to watch you grow and play, I will never get to kiss you or watch the things you do, I will never get to play with you or show you I love you, I don't understand why God took you away from me, I guess it is the way he wantes it to be, But even though I will never get to play with you or watch the silly things you would do, I know my daddy and grandma will take good care of you, I will meet you on the day I die, Then we will make a home in the sky, Until then remember in my heart you will always be, And even though you are not here you mean the world to me.
