I Will Forgive You

I will forgive you But will the sly world When the ponds you poisoned Feed water to you And late time unfurled How self deceived you And made you surrendered And claim a pebble for pearl I will forgive you The bitterness destroyed After it destroyed you. And until then I aloft Will fly, a swallow Not an eagle, that scoff Then eat in shallow Rot of flesh, its pride A paltry feather That I weightless abide The foul of weather.
