I Will Be Glad To Say Goodbye
When your world makes
my soul worry
and you would not say I'm
sorry
it is a sign this date will
die...
I will be glad to say
goodbye.
When my hands do make
you happy
and all you do makes me
crappy
be sure, soon my feelings
will fly
I will be glad to say
goodbye.
If your warm arms stop
being a home
and my weak heart begins
to roam
my soul for you will cease
to cry,
I will be glad to say
goodbye.
When my pains do not
affect you,
and your gains makes me
go blue,
we are done dear, I need
not sigh...
I will be glad to say
goodbye.
When your flowers bring
me grave fears
and your treasures gives
me gall tears
true love shall cease to
make me try...
I will be glad to say
goodbye.
When you call a bad spade
a rake
and your sour smiles
brings me heartbreak,
knowing your love songs
are a lie
I will be glad to say
goodbye.
