I Was Fed Kindness
The ham was crusted, done to a turn.
This meal was huge,I never learn!
I always cook too much for me.
From years of being a chef, you see.
But this is Christmas Eve tonight.
And I feel sorry for my plight.
When suddenly I had a thought.
I took the gifts that I had bought.
I found some shelter folks to feed.
But really,they fulfilled my need.
For cos' of them I'm not alone.
I bless them for their kindness shown.
